Ending of March this week

We are coming to the end of March now and it will be April 1st on Friday.
Friday is Autism awareness day so where a blue shirt to support the knowledge of Autism in
our community please.

DIMM
We are doing Flintstones and completing our countdowns in DIMM and both are due by April 8.
LPSCS and Law I
We are working on ethics and value systems in the relationship to licences and values.

All work is due for this six weeks by April 8th Friday.

We are back.........

We are back and moving along.

LPSCS is working on Projects about Careers and relating them to the Death Row Inmate they chose.
Research areas are Monster.com, Ask.com, and ehow.com.

DIMM Students are working on their Creative Countdowns.  Each photo must last 6 seconds and be a GIF file in their H: drive.

Spring Break.........

Spring Break is only a day away.....enjoy your time.

In LPSCS we are working on our career projects with relation to the Death Row Inmates from the March Homework.  April's homework is to bring a job description in for the career you have chosen.  You may choose to do a poster, a portfolio, or a powerpoint about the job that you have chosen.  Some of you have chosen to be the District Attorney or Defense Attorney for the Inmate.  In that case, find out how the trial went.  If you are the officer in the case, you can find out the facts from news articles or trial research.

DIMM students are working on After Effects and we talked about the countdown today.  Please start thinking about it for next class period.

DIMM class and LE Courses

DIMM class had to create an item of their choice.  Some really great action commercials on building cars, sandwiches, rock bands, and bikes.  Great job on that.  We will be doing the introduction to the Movie after Spring Break.

LE Classes- we are finishing up our movies and will work on advanced arrest techniques and how to determine probable cause at different levels of conversations with a suspect that will include interviews.
Please be sure your homework project is turned in on Weds for full credit.

Our next course after Spring Break will be to do career based projects that will look at what you want to do in the future and how to go about getting there.  LE 1 class is creating a new crime scene we will do for the LPSCS classes in April.

DIMM and LE Courses for March

After Effects has gotten a big plus from the kids and we are all spinning our projects and making cool commercials.  We will keep going up to the movie intro very soon.

LE classes are watching the Bad Boys 1 and 2 and we will be working on partnership and arrest techniques as that comes to a close.  We will also have the homework assignment due on March 9th Weds, that will lead us back to careers and professional decision making.

Stay tuned as we sweep through March, and yes I am a basketball fan too.
